The Jolly Holiday Elf Approach to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Some people get into the holiday spirit 110%…you know them because they are decked in holiday wear from head to toe, blinking lights, grinning faces, and their favorite holiday tune on their lips.  These people visit Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to celebrate the festive season.  They can be found snapping pictures of decorations along Main Street, watching the snow fall, gawking at the giant tree and just generally wandering the party examining each little bit of holiday cheer.

They’re a happy bunch with a bounce to their step, singing along to the music broadcast throughout the park.  Jolly Holiday Elves are a joy to be around, lifting everyone’s spirits.

Their strategy is to map out when they will see the Castle Stage Show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, because they want a spot right up front.  Best to see the 7:40pm show and then hang around for the 8:15 A Frozen Holiday Wish when Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf come together to light up Cinderella Castle.

From there they can turn around and be ready for the 8:30pm Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, ready to wave hello to Santa, giggle at the Toy Soldiers marching by and glory in the floats that make up the parade.

Where will they be next?  Well, if they are a family, you an probably find them at either Club Tinsel in Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe grooving with some reindeer, or showing off their dance movies with the little ones at the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jingle Jam with Vamprina and other friends.  But mark my words, they will be making a beeline to Main Street for the 10pm Holiday Wishes, ready to watch the sky light up.

Tomorrow’s installment of the 5 Types of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party goers will include The Grazer and The Merchandiser.

Blogger, Traveler, Wife, Runner….I’m known as many different things.  But I’m here to be your Travel Professional.  Ever since I was a little girl I had an interest in travel. I would collect the postcards books that my grandparents brought back to me from their travels and I kept them in a special box that I loved to pull out and flip through. As I traveled with my family I started collecting postcards on my own and pictures, maps, and other mementos of my travels.

Believe it or not, I still have those postcards and every once in awhile I’ll bring them out and flip through smiling at the memories they bring back. Although I might not collect postcards anymore I collect photos, stories and information on my travels. I love to soak up a destination, reveling in the local food life. I absolutely love sharing my travel stories, foodie moments and special encounters
