Celebrating at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Starting September 11, guests at the Walt Disney World Resort can celebrate Halloween on select nights by purchasing a ticket to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!  I’m practically bursting with anticipation, because this is an event that my husband, Kevin, and I look forward to every year.  In fact, we’re deep into planning our Halloween costumes with friends!  On these select nights guests can dress up in costumes if they like, trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom, watch a special parade, ride select rides and cap it all off with a Happy Hallowishes fireworks show!

This event is really fun for the whole family, allowing kids to experience a magical Halloween without any scary monsters.  The parade features Disney characters in costumes and upbeat music.  There are character greetings around the park and even a special stage show at the castle.  I love watching all the Disney Villains gather in front of Cinderella’s Castle to sing and dance.  And the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks show?  It’s not to be missed, it’s a different soundtrack and fireworks display from the standard Wishes!

Parents, if you’re worried about too much candy for the little ones, never fear, Disney has thought of that and certain trick-or-treat stations also hand out raisins!  It’s a great time to be a kid or act like a kid again.  You should see my husband and I comparing trick-or-treat bags back our resort and trading each other for favorite candies.  The party runs from 7pm – Midnight on select nights.  If you’re interested in learning more about the event or purchasing tickets, please feel free to contact me!
