The Disney Dream

Have you sailed on one of Disney’s Cruise ships?  They are a sight to behold.  I recently had a chance to see the Disney Dream leaving Port Canaveral.  I recorded a little bit so that you could enjoy it.  The Disney Dream sails from Port Canaveral, Florida on 3, 4, or 5-Night Bahamian Cruises.  The Dream is the third ship in Disney’s Fleet.  Here are some quick stats on it:

  1. 14 Decks
  2. 1,115 feet long
  3. 125 feet wide
  4. 1,250 staterooms
  5. Weighs 130,000 tons
  6. 1,458 Cast Members serving guests
Needless to say the Disney Dream is HUGE!  It also boasts the AquaDuck, which was the very first water coaster at sea.  There are many different activities for kids on board and separate adults only areas.  For instance, enjoy an evening at Pink, an adults only bar decorated to look like the inside of champagne bottle.  Or if you’re cruising with the family don’t forget to see one of the spectacular stage shows and set aside some time to greet characters.  And no Disney Cruise is ever complete without a visit to Disney’s private island, Castaway Key!

Visit here often as I share my cruise aboard the Disney Dream with you!  Meanwhile, enjoy a little magic in this quick video!  Disney Dream Leaving Port Canaveral
