5 Different Ways to Experience Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party | The Grazer and The Merchandiser

Our final installment of the 5 Types of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party goers is about The Grazer and the Merchandiser.  These species of party goers can be found in very different areas of the parks.  Our Grazers have come to sample and then sample again the various party treats that are complimentary with your party admission.  Maybe the rest of the family are Attraction Junkies or Paparazzi, but that’s just not their scene.

Special treats can be located by the pop-up peppermint sticks outside various eateries.  You’ll find Tortuga Tavern offering the Snowman Soft Pretzel and Sno-Cones.  I highly advise you to get a Snowman Soft Pretzel, by far my 2nd favorite at the party!

Liberty Square Ticket Office has a Ginger Molasses Cookie and Eggnog, which those in the Fantasyland Area can look forward to 3 different snack areas.  Pinocchio Village Haus was my #1 snack favorite, offering a “Variety of Holiday Favorites” according to the map.  This meant 4 individually packaged cookies and hot chocolate or orange soda.

Over at the Friar’s Nook you could get Chilled Apple Cider and Dove Chocolates.  Okay, to be honest, it was chilled apple juice, the you got a handful of chocolates! In Storybook Circus there was a Peppermint Crunch Cookie.  If you have a food allergy, don’t despair, allergy options were available at each location.  And they weren’t your typical apple slices, Pinocchio offered Birthday Cake Ice Cream, another place had allergy friendly cookies.

Finally Tomorrowland Travelers can expect to find Snickerdoodle Cookies and Hot Chocolate at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe or Chocolate Chip Cookies and Sno-Cones at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies.  I don’t think I would say there was a real strategy for the Grazer…you just want to visit everything and revisit your favorites.  Locations were all open until the end of the party at 12:00am.

And last but not least, we have our Merchandiser.  The Merchandiser is in search of those party specific items like pins, shirts, Magic Bands, hats, coats, ornaments, and Alex and Ani bracelets.  Look for these people to be staking out the stores right at 7pm to get a jump on their purchases.  Full Event Merchandise can be located at either the Emporium on Main Street, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square, Big Top Souvenirs in Fantasyland or Mickey’s Star Traders in Tomorrowland.  Trading Pins will be over at the Emporium, the Frontier Trading Post or Mickey’s Star Traders locations.  Magic Bands can be purchased at Frontier Trading Post or the Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.  If you’re a Passholder, your merchandise is either at the Emporium or Mickey’s Star Traders.  Depending on your merchandise needs expect to spend a pretty penny on your souvenirs!

This concludes my series on the 5 Types of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party attendees…do you think I missed any type?  Do you have additional tips for these types of partygoers?  I’d love to hear your thoughts or discuss what it’s like to attend the party.  You can find me on Facebook here or feel free to drop me a line at Carrie@MustLoveTravel.com.

Merry Christmas all!

Blogger, Traveler, Wife, Runner….I’m known as many different things.  But I’m here to be your Travel Professional.  Ever since I was a little girl I had an interest in travel. I would collect the postcards books that my grandparents brought back to me from their travels and I kept them in a special box that I loved to pull out and flip through. As I traveled with my family I started collecting postcards on my own and pictures, maps, and other mementos of my travels.

Believe it or not, I still have those postcards and every once in awhile I’ll bring them out and flip through smiling at the memories they bring back. Although I might not collect postcards anymore I collect photos, stories and information on my travels. I love to soak up a destination, reveling in the local food life. I absolutely love sharing my travel stories, foodie moments and special encounters
