The Paparazzi Approach to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Yesterday we talked about the Attraction Junkie approach to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, while today we have the Paparazzi approach…you’re here to see all the hard to find characters, not to mention the regular ones in holiday attire.

Get that autograph book and Memory Maker package ready, because you’re going to pour over the Party map looking for those Mickey icons to indicate character greeting locations.  Your strategy?  Figure out where the rarest characters are first and see them, followed by your every day characters in holiday attire.  Disney has stopped indicating what characters are where, making it a little more challenging to find people.  You can ask a Cast Member where someone is or you can join the fun of a character scavenger hunt.  This year, Sandy Claus (Jack) and Sally are the Main Street Theater and next door the Big Cheese is greeting in holiday attire.

Mary Poppins and Bert are in the gazebo behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, Uncle Scrooge and Donald are in Storybook Circus, Vamprina is found at the Disney Junior Dance Party back there as well.  The Prince and Snow White, along with Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Prince Philip are over by the Castle structures by the Carousel, Winnie the Pooh and Friends will be over by their attraction and so on.

Tip: If you don’t care about the Fireworks or Parades, get in line for Jack and Sally then…we scored a visit with the couple during Fireworks with about a 30 minute wait!

Tomorrow we’ll discover where The Jolly Holiday Elf can be found…..

Blogger, Traveler, Wife, Runner….I’m known as many different things.  But I’m here to be your Travel Professional.  Ever since I was a little girl I had an interest in travel. I would collect the postcards books that my grandparents brought back to me from their travels and I kept them in a special box that I loved to pull out and flip through. As I traveled with my family I started collecting postcards on my own and pictures, maps, and other mementos of my travels.

Believe it or not, I still have those postcards and every once in awhile I’ll bring them out and flip through smiling at the memories they bring back. Although I might not collect postcards anymore I collect photos, stories and information on my travels. I love to soak up a destination, reveling in the local food life. I absolutely love sharing my travel stories, foodie moments and special encounters.
